In the Eleutherodactylus alfredi group as defined by Lynch and Duellman (1997).

TYPE:

PERSONAL NOTES:
I have no personal experience with this species despite having been in the Sierra de Juarez on several occasions. I have heard Eleutherodactylus at the type-locality of this frog, but have not been able to identify them to this point.
