I have found A. undulata at many sites in Mexico, from the beaches of central Veracruz, to the tropical deciduous forests of Nayarit and cloud forest (pictured above) in the Cerro Baul region of the Oaxaca/Chiapas border. At the latter site, this species was abundant only in clear-cut areas along with Sceloporus siniferus siniferus.
